  • 1 kilogram of pork ribs
  • 50 grams of rub spice mixture, exempli gratia “Magic Dust” by Ankerkraut
  • 1 bottle of BBQ sauce

Step-by-Step Cooking Guide

Next, use the food vacuum sealer’s automatic mode to seal the ribs securely.

Preheat your sous-vide device to 65 degrees Celsius, then place the ribs inside and let them slow-cook for a generous 18 hours, ensuring the bags remain fully immersed in water throughout.

As the 18-hour cooking period nears completion, preheat your oven grill. Remove the ribs from the bags and arrange them on a baking sheet.

Generously apply BBQ sauce to achieve uniform coverage. Be liberal with the sauce. Bake in the oven for approximately 7 minutes, taking care to prevent the BBQ sauce from scorching. Once done, reapply another coat of BBQ sauce and finish by placing the ribs beneath the oven grill for an additional 7 minutes to achieve a delectably glossy glaze.
